Robert McCaig<\/h3><\/div>

Robert (Bob) McCaig was born in 1945 and grew up in a rural area of New York state.  I often smile and say that it was 10 miles to anywhere including a grocery store and the school I attended for 12 years.  My parents were farmers.  In my early years I learned how to milk cows, shear sheep, plant and harvest grain, and store up feed for the cattle during the winter months.  I was introduced to the Lord through Sunday School and church services which were a part of the normal routine for a Sunday morning.
After graduating from the local high school, I attended Clarkson College of Technology where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.  While at Clarkson, I attended church where I found peace and joy that was a welcome change to the daily routine of studying and striving to be the best, I could be in my pursuit of a college degree.
Following my graduation from Clarkson College in 1968, I began my engineering career at International Business Machines (IBM) Federal Systems Division (FSD) and soon thereafter married the love of my life Marci.  In 1973, the Methodist Church which we attended held a Lay Witness Mission. It was during that 3-day mission that I reached out to Christ to be not just somebody I knew about, but my personal Savior. It was this event in May of 1973 that started my intimate relationship with my Lord and Savior.
In 1974, Marci and I moved to Virginia where we met many special people that were willing to walk with us and mentor us in our Christian growth.  During this time, we started to travel with a group on Lay Witness Missions where we ministered to the children during those 3-day events.  Later, we joined Emmanuel Baptist Church where I became a deacon and participated in a mission trip to Portugal.  In 1984 we joined New Covenant Fellowship (NCF) where I provided financial oversight.  In 2001, I was ordained as a pastor at NCF and have continued in that role to the present time.  It is at NCF that I met Igho Herbert who has a true heart for missions.  Igho\u2019s heart is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through his own personal ministry, through his work, and through a Bible Study that he leads every Thursday.  Igho has allowed me to lead that Bible Study occasionally.
It is on Jesus Christ, the solid rock I stand, as a pastor that firmly believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that the Bible is the infallible Word of God given to us that we might know His truths.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Pastor Donald R. Ponikvar, PhD<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>

Prior to his ordination as a Pastor\/Elder with New Covenant Fellowship of Manassas, Virginia, in 2003, Dr. Donald Ponikvar was a career Army Officer.  He graduated from West Point, and was commissioned in Armor Branch, serving in assignments in Germany and in the United States.  He has a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), taught Physics at West Point, and worked for several years on President Reagan’s Star Wars program.  During the week, when he is not involved with pastoral duties, Don is a consultant to the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security, advising them on nuclear weapon effects, countering terrorism, and responding to weapons of mass destruction.
 
Don was born in Cleveland, and raised in the Methodist Church.  While at graduate school at MIT, he came to a personal revelation of the reality of God and the need for a personal relationship with Jesus after hearing a Physics Colloquium on the Big Bang theory of the creation of the universe.  He committed himself to Jesus in 1980, and became involved with the Officer’s Christian Fellowship, an organization serving military officers from all the Services, ministering to military personnel from all around the world.  In addition to being a co-Pastor at New Covenant Fellowship, he leads their Prophetic Ministry Team.  He taught Prophetic Ministry and Healing at Shepherd’s Heart Bible College in Fairfax, VA, and is a certified trainer for the Christian International course on Ministering the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  He is also a commissioned Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Chaplain, working with Christ In Action, a service organization headquartered in Culpeper, Virginia.  He is the coordinator for Christ In Action\u2019s Chaplain Commissioning Program.  He and his wife, Patti, have been happily married for 48 years.  They have three children, all married, three grandsons, and a granddaughter.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Igho Favour Herbert<\/h3><\/div>

I came to Christ in an organic (evolutionary) way. Wait a minute, did I just say the \u201cevolution\u201d word? Yes, I did and my Christian faith evolved for nearly five years: it was not something that happened spontaneously. So I can\u2019t tell anyone I got \u201cborn again on xyz date\u201d.
It all happened while I was in the boarding house in secondary school at James Welch Grammar School, Emevor, Delta State, Niger Delta. Like all other students, I was required to join a social club, so I picked the Scripture Union. And that was how my faith evolved as I attended weekly meetings of Bible studies and prayers.
I then studied Sociology at University of Jos, Jos, Nigeria; Environment and (International) Development at University of Manchester, United Kingdom; an uncompleted Post Graduate Law Diploma at University of Exeter, Exeter (UK); Basic Immigration Law certificate course (Isaac\/Florida international University); Paralegal Certificate course at George Mason University, Arlington, Virginia, USA and several other training and certification courses in non-profit management. Non-profit management training took me to places like Brazil, Belgium, Britain, Germany, France and Netherlands to name a few.
Notice that I did not mention any theological certificates above. I did have some of those but never went to be a pastor. Working behind the scenes was my style, never being in front or the one leading the show. So, I served in various behind-the-scene positions. From these positions my various pastors decided that I should become a pastor. Various pastors because that seemed to be a recurring theme in my Christian walk for over twenty years. Each time I relocated or changed congregation, I ran into a pastor who has heard God calling me to be a pastor, or wants to ordain me as one! Reluctantly, after running for over 20 years, I agreed.
Between 2005 and 2008 that I served with a Lutheran Church charity in Houston, Texas as Community Outreach Director. I oversaw the settlement and integration of refugees from Africa (Eritrea and Liberia) and Latin America into US society. During this time, our English as second language (ESL) classes used the Bible as text. This led to the birthing of about five congregations among the refugees (Spanish, Eritrean, Indian and Liberian). I also worked with displaced people after hurricanes Katrina and Rita; using resource management strategies, we quickly resettled about 350 families, turned our victims into entrepreneurs and community builders.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emmanuel Ufuah<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>

Emmanuel Ufuah had an unforgettable encounter with the Lord in 1984, an experience that was absolutely by the (unmerited) grace of God.
A trained political scientist called by God to teach and preach the Gospel, Emmanuel has been descipled through the years in a graceful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Theologically groomed and ordained by the Baptist Theological Seminary (Nigerian Baptist Convention), God’s Servant served the Lord in the Baptist Denomination for quite some years.
In 2010, by divine direction, Emmanuel Ufuah founded Rhema Place Ministries, Warri, Nigeria, where he oversees the Lord’s work as the presiding bishop.
Bishop Ufuah is married to Stephanie, an Agric. Economist by training, but called and ordained as a Gospel Minister. The home is blessed with three children.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
